We are MIURA brewery
MIURA brewery is at the southernmost tip of the Miura Peninsula. In this setting fragrant with the ocean breeze, we brew craft beer that conveys the peninsula’s charm.
Miura Peninsula is an alluring area rich in diverse outdoor activities ranging from the ocean to the mountains. Pursuits like snorkeling, SUPing, cycling, and trail running offer a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy nature to the full. You can also encounter stunning scenery that will make you wonder, “Is this really Japan?”
As someone who does lots of marine sports myself, I can honestly say that nothing beats a craft beer after getting out of the ocean. With an overnight stay, there is no need to hold back. Make “having a beer” your goal, and savor the journey as you go there by car, motorcycle, or road bike. This is an experience that is well worth trying.

Special Craft Beers Shaped by Nature and the Seasons - We express the appeal of the Miura Peninsula through our beer. Our four core beers are inspired by the ocean around the Miura Coast. For example, MIURA Island Wheat evokes the beautiful, dynamic waters of Jogashima, and MIURA Golden Ale is inspired by the dreamlike sunset seen from Aburatsubo. We also brew seasonal releases made with generous amounts of fresh, in-season produce such as melons and green mandarins.

A popular spot in Misaki, this restaurant always has a line of customers eagerly awaiting their turn. Specializing in tuna dishes using a wide range of cuts, it is especially renowned for its bold sashimi platter featuring rare parts of the tuna head. Another must-see is the tuna-cutting-up show they put on several times a day.

A long-running Misaki sushi restaurant with 160 years of history. Enjoy expertly crafted dishes made with Misaki tuna and seasonal local fish. The signature Toro-Toro Rice Bowl topped with four varieties of tuna is a popular choice.

A small, charming galette and crêpe shop right by Misaki Port. The galettes and crêpes made with plenty of seasonal vegetables and local ingredients are a truly unbeatable treat.

3204 bread&gelato
Located just a stone’s throw from Misaki Port, this gelato shop is run by a former pastry chef. Around 12 varieties are available at all times. All of them highlight the natural flavors of the ingredients, and the ones made with locally grown Misaki vegetables and fruits are especially recommended. Get your gelato to go and take it to the crêpe shop Fossette, and you can also have it added as a topping.

Situated right in front of Misaki Port, this eye-catching restaurant serves authentic Mexican cuisine. Run by an owner who spent many years living in South America, it is Japan’s first mezcal specialty bar, and offers dozens of varieties in addition to its Mexican dishes. Another plus is its late hours—it stays open until midnight, which is rare in Misaki.

Popeye Chinese Restaurant
A beloved neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Misaki that has been serving the community since the Showa era. Run by a parent and child, the warm, family atmosphere feels delightfully retro. From the handmade gyoza to the stir-fried liver and chives, every dish is a reliable treat. Even though it is a Chinese restaurant, its signature omelet rice is also recommended.

The only Italian restaurant in the tuna town that is Misaki, this place uses an abundance of local vegetables and seafood. Standing right in front of Misaki Port, the cozy, blue-themed restaurant offers delicious dishes with a view of the harbor lights below.

A superb bistro just a short walk from Miura Kaigan Station. It relocated from Minami-Azabu two years ago, and its seven-seat counter is always fully booked. There is also a standing bar in the back, so you can enjoy excellent food and fine wine with a casual vibe.

A small and cute takoyaki (octopus dumpling) shop in a back alley off Misaki Shopping Street. Alongside classic flavors like sauce, soy sauce, and salt sauce, the creative options like chilled takoyaki and octopus crackers are also worth trying.
